Cllr D Campbell

Name: Cllr Don Campbell

Address: 19 Culme Close, Oundle

Telephone Number: 01832 272722

Date joined Oundle Town Council: 2003

Positions held: Head of Properties Working Party, Member of the Queen Victoria Hall Working Party, Personnel Working Party, Leisure, Sports and Youth Working Party, Museum Trust and Oundle Clock Fund.

General Information: I am married with five children. I came to Oundle in January 1978 where I was the Police Sergeant from 1978 to 1986 and again from 1988 to 1996 when I retired. When in the Police I visited on many occasions all the local schools and started the Neighbourhood Watch Scheme in Oundle. I was leader of the newly formed Oundle Youth Club in 1981 which met at Fletton House with over 130 members. I ran football training for Oundle Primary School every Saturday morning form 9.00am to 1.00pm - these pupils are now in their thirties!

I joined Oundle Town Council because I am passionate about Oundle and I still wanted to be involved in the community.

I had the honour of being Mayor in 2005.
