Oundle Town Council owns the market rights for the town and manages the thriving markets. Since before 972AD there has been a well stocked open-air market in the attractive Market Place.

Over 20 stalls all selling different wares can be found at the Market every Thursday.  Best time to attend is between 9.00am and 3.00pm.

On the second Saturday of each month a Farmers' Market is held where local produce is sold direct to the public.

One Thursday market pitch is kept solely for Oundle charities as a means of raising funds for their causes.
