Oundle 2020 Plan

Plans are being developed to create a plan for the town for the next 10 years.
With increasing housing development comes increasing pressure on the town's infrastructure and it is important that the needs of the town for the next ten years are understood and addressed.
in order to answer this challenge, a Steering Group (made up of councillors, residents and stakeholders) has been formed called Oundle 2020 tasked with developing a plan for the town. Oundle 2020 has an agreed constitution, terms of reference and objectives. It will develop a blue print for Oundle with short term (within 2 years), medium term (within 5 years) and long term (within 10 years) plans and initiatives that will enable Oundle to expand, retain its unique charm and be well served with sensible infra-structure.
The plan itself will be developed via four work streams namely:
• Tourism, employment & trade;
• Leisure & recreation;
• Hard Infra-structure;
• Housing, services and amenities.
Our primary ideas were shared with the town on the 22nd September with a more substantive plan to follow on the 14th December. A copy of the presentation is available via the link on this page. If you have any comments to make, please send these to us via admin@oundle.gov.uk
