The Station opens every Wednesday night for drill and members of the public are welcome to meet the fire fighters and watch them train, but Sub Officer Black should be contacted in advance because sometimes training takes place away from the station.

Applications to join as a Retained Fire Fighter are always welcome from able-bodied persons between the ages of 18 and 50.  The Fire Service is an equal opportunities employer.  Any applicant will be considered, but the nature of the work precludes most persons with disabilities.
