Oundle Strollers' Free Guided Walks are organised by volunteers on the Rights of
Way Sub-Committee; the new programme is published annually in December. Initial contact for information on Strollers' walks should be
made to Oundle Town Council.

Aims and Objectives of Oundle Strollers
r To encourage walking and
enjoyment of the countryside.
r To increase knowledge of the Parish and
the surrounding area.
r To protect the footpaths so as to vie
access to the open countryside. If you encounter any footpath problems
within Northamptonshire, contact the County Council Rights of Way Section (01604
237749).

General Notes on Walks
r Please note the variable
starting times of walks.
r Car passengers are requested to make a
realistic donation to car owners when accepting lifts. 20p per mile is
suggested.
r Maps used are The Explorer.
r It is advisable to take a small drink and
snack on afternoon walks, and on the all day walks take sufficient food and
drink for the day.
r Stout footwear should always be worn and
do not forget warm waterproof clothing.
r Dogs are allowed but MUST be kept on a
lead where animals are grazing and in nature reserves. Owners must be in
full control of their dogs at all times.
r Every care is taken in planning Strollers
Walks, but no responsibility is accepted by the Oundle Town Council, Rights of
Way Sub-Committee, Strollers' Group or Leaders for any form of accident or
liability howsoever caused. Participation in any walk is entirely at
individual's own risk.
