New Street - Carriageway Resurfacing 6-7 Feb 2021 CANCELLED
Due to the current forecast of prolonged cold/severe weather the scheduled road works in New Street this weekend have been cancelled, and all other scheduled work, until further notice.

New Road - Carriageway Resurfacing Update
Unfortunately, the resurfacing schedule of New Road has slipped due to the discovery of a spring, which may have been the root cause of so many issues over so many years. Highways and Paragon will be trying to solve it with further excavations over the next week or so (and apologies on their behalf), and as long as the weather holds off, will get finished as soon as they can.

Northamptonshire Highways do not have the resources to grit every path and road in the county and encourage people to use the 1500 grit bins across the county.
