Due to the persistent rain the River Nene is rising, which may lead to flooding. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.

The Met Office has issued a yellow warning today for parts of East Midlands, Yorkshire & Humber & Wales.
The rain is expected to clear away northwards during the evening.
Although we are currently not affected, the persistent rain means there is likely to be lots of surface water on roads and paths.
Take care when driving and check your route before travelling.

Oundle Town Council will fill the town and Queen Victoria Hall with a traditional Christmas Market selling a wide range of products. There will be carols, a brass band, fun fair and the Weekenders will be performing in the Queen Victoria Hall.
