Good news - work on the new Snipe Meadow boardwalk is scheduled to start on Monday 29 June 2020.

MET Office Issues Yellow Weather Warning - Thunderstorms causing some flooding

Heavy showers and thunderstorms are likely to break out on Friday afternoon and evening. Many places will miss the storms, but where they do occur, torrential downpours could bring 30-50mm rain in a hour, with hail and lightning.

Spray and sudden flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures.

The storms will slowly clear northeastwards on Friday night.

Last December the Oundle Neighbourhood Plan was rejected (it proposed good development sites but not this one)

In January East Northamptonshire Council voted to accept instead their 'Local Plan'with this site included. That is now the blueprint for building in Oundle.
