J Atkinson & Sons greengrocers won't be at Thursday's market on 2 April 2020. They have made the difficult decision to not attend this week but they hope to return as soon as possible.

The Coronavirus can easily spread from person to person not applying social distancing and can live on surfaces for up to nine days. For this reason, all parks in Oundle are closed to restrict the spread of the virus.
Last week two children ignored the closed signs and were seen using the play equipment at Pocket Park.

Great to see a small but disciplined turn out to the very limited market this morning.
Social distancing was much in evidence, as was stoic good humour, and the ENC Environmental Health team are happy with the provision under present government guidelines.
Thanks to the traders for supporting the continued and impressive food stores around Oundle, keeping us supplied in difficult times.

East Northamptonshire Council's Planning Management Committee meeting will go ahead on Monday, 23 March 2020 however, in order to adhere to current government guidance relating to the coronavirus pandemic, it has been decided to postpone the Committee's consideration of the St Christopher's Drive, Oundle application (19/01355/OUT –) to a later date.
