The Circus is coming to Oundle from Monday 5 October to Wednesday 7 October

Oundle Town Council has honoured a long standing booking for James Richards Circus at the Recreation Ground next week.

They are following all the current Government guidelines and count as an outside event, their Risk Assessment is very thorough, and Environmental Health at ENC have approved their COVID-19 precautions which includes the following;

  • Reduced capacity to one third of their maximum capacity
  • Separate seating to allow for social distancing spacing
  • Barriers so only every other row can be used with shorter rows so only one family 'bubble' per row
  • Hand sanitising points inside & at the Circus box office
  • 2 metre social distancing markers & a one-way system inside
  • Sidewalls will be lifted to increase ventilation
  • Condensed one hour show with no intervals and no toilets on site
  • Only pre-packaged Circus souvenirs and refreshments will be sold & they all come with a sealed antibacterial wipe
  • No audience participation
  • Thorough deep clean of the site after each performance
  • All international staff have quarantined for over 2 weeks before their first performance
  • Contactless payment
  • Online ticketing
