In memory of Her Majesty The Queen

On behalf of Oundle Town Council and the residents of Oundle, we wish to offer our deepest sympathies, thoughts and condolences to the Royal Family on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. As a community, we shall remember her legacy of unwavering duty and dedication; and will attempt to continue to honour her life and reign with gratitude and respect, recognising her inspirational and incomparable service. May she rest in peace and always be remembered for her sterling work both to our own country and many others around the world.

Queen's Funeral

The Queen's state funeral took place at Westminster Abbey on Monday 19 September 2022 at 11:00am

Book of Condolence

The Book of Condolence is available to visitors in the Town Council office, Fletton House, Barnwell Room between Monday and Friday 10.00am to 4.00pm. The Book of Condolence closes on Tuesday 20 September 2022.

Floral Tributes

The floral tributes for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will be removed from St Peter's Churchyard on Tuesday 20 September 2022.

The flowers will be composted and used when we plant the trees we have planned for Oundle at a later date.

The Personnel, Finance & General Purposes Committee Meeting Tuesday 13 September 2022 has been cancelled.

The QVH Trust & Full Council Meeting Tuesday 20 September 2022 has been cancelled.
