Aided no doubt by the large number of people who came to the Thrapston council chamber to speak or support on Oundle's behalf, on Monday evening the East Northants Planning Policy Committee chose to defer any decision about Oundle Housing Allocations in the draft Local Plan for the time being.

East Northants Council have agreed that our plan "complies with all of the relevant statutory requirements".
It is now out, again, for public consultation. Residents responses to this stage of the plan, Reg 16, must be presented by ENC to the Examiner, so are of huge importance.

Unfortunately, the wrong text was printed on the OTC page of the Advertiser this month. This is the correct version, which includes news on the Neighbourhood Plan and Snipe Meadow. Normal service will be resumed next month!
