Oundle School has released their planning framework for school children returning to Oundle. It can be found on the home pages of both Oundle School and Laxton Junior School websites. New X4 timetable (back to the old route) from 30th August. Stagecoach say they'll put notes on the presently used bus stops saying they will stop being used on August 30th - please spread the word.

Saturday 15 August is the 75th Anniversary of VJ day & Oundle Branch of the Royal British Legion will lay a wreath at the war memorial at 11am.

"In light of the recent closure/reopening of Oundle North Bridge, but also with an eye to the uncertainties about the forthcoming return of schools, it seems risky to tweak the X4 timetable/route too often in August.
So, even when North Bridge is reopened to large vehicles, the X4 will continue on its existing route and timetable until AUGUST 30th, when it is hoped it can move back to its previous routing... Read More »

The Council has taken the very difficult decision to cancel this year's Christmas Market.
The market requires significant management so under the current circumstances there are just too many risks factors to manage the event safely and the health and safety of everyone is of the upmost importance.
