All parks in Oundle are CLOSED to restrict the spread of Coronavirus
The Coronavirus can easily spread from person to person not applying social distancing and can live on surfaces for up to nine days. For this reason, all parks in Oundle are closed to restrict the spread of the virus.
Last week two children ignored the closed signs and were seen using the play equipment at Pocket Park.

Decision about St Christopher's Drive planning application is postponed
East Northamptonshire Council's Planning Management Committee meeting will go ahead on Monday, 23 March 2020 however, in order to adhere to current government guidance relating to the coronavirus pandemic, it has been decided to postpone the Committee's consideration of the St Christopher's Drive, Oundle application (19/01355/OUT –) to a later date.

The Government has postponed the local, mayoral and Police and Crime Commissioner elections due to take place on Thursday 7 May 2020.

MIDDLE NENE - FLOODING IS POSSIBLE BE PREPARED
Over the weekend, river levels have risen on the Middle River Nene as a result of persistent heavy rainfall associated with Storm Dennis. This led to flooding of low lying land and roads close to the river. It is expected the river will remain high throughout the next few days.
