Dexter Cows Now On Snipe Meadow

We are so excited to announce the arrival of 8 Dexter Cows and 1 month old calf yesterday afternoon who are now all happily grazing in Snipe Meadow.

Kimberly, Molasses, Melody, Monsoon, Bluebell, Nettle, Bilberry, Violet and calf will be with us for the rest of the summer.

Highways work on Glapthorn Road 23 & 24 May 2022

North Northamptonshire Highways (NNC) are carrying out high-friction surfacing at the crossing point on Glapthorn Road on Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 May 2022 from 9am to 15.30pm.

The road will be closed so please use alternative routes, delays are likely.

River Nene Is Rising

Over the last 24 hours the Environment Agency has seen heavy rainfall in the River Nene catchment.

This means that the River Nene is now rising, which will lead to flooding of low lying land and roads close to these rivers from this morning on Thursday, 17th March onwards.

Thank you to the Peverley family for kindly donating Chestnut trees to Oundle Town Council which they had grown from seed - here's our maintenance man planting one on the green space between Creed Road & Wentworth Drive.
